Brodie is a Chartered Civil Engineer specialising in delivering tunnelling projects. His expertise spans civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering disciplines for underground infrastructure projects, including tunnels, caverns, adits and portals. He has successfully designed, coordinated and led tunnelling work on projects throughout Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Brodie is the Chair of the ATS Young Members and sits on the ITA Young Members’ steering board, where he promotes underground space for sustainable development by connecting, developing, and promoting young tunnellers worldwide. Brodie has been part of developing the ATS Tunnel Design Guideline as an author and chair for the second edition.
Brodie will be presenting an Introduction to Tunnel Design on Wednesday 27 November at 8:45am.

The ATS Short Course 2024 is a multi-day event, designed to provide an introduction to the world of tunnels, being held in Brisbane 27-29 November. Event content will closely align with the latest edition of the ATS Tunnel Design Guideline and is a must for tunnelling professionals.
The course is delivered by experienced professionals from Australian tunnelling who have specialist knowledge in their discipline field.
