Allen Neyland Tunnelling Achievement Award
The Allen Neyland Memorial Award is made to an Australian for outstanding achievement associated with tunnelling and underground excavation and construction and is presented at each Australasian Tunnelling Conference or at the discretion of the National Executive.
David Sugden Award
In 2004 the Australian Tunnelling Society started the David Sugden Award to encourage young engineers to develop the art of technical writing.
Women in Tunnelling Achievement Award
The Australian Tunnelling Society (ATS) is committed to diversity and inclusion in the underground tunnelling industry. To increase the visibility of women in the industry and recognise their enormous contribution, the ATS has established a Women in Tunnelling Achievement Award.
Bill Bamford Student Tunnelling Achievement Award
The Australian Tunnelling Society (ATS) awards this prize to undergraduate students who have been identified by their lecturers as having excelled in subjects specifically related to tunnelling.
