Event Overview

The Australian Tunnelling Society Young Members invites you to join Tim Parker, Chief Executive Officer of the High Speed Rail Authority, for an engaging discussion exploring the client’s perspective on bids, as well as the development and delivery of major infrastructure projects.

Drawing on more than 30 years of experience across Australia and Asia, including involvement in some of the region’s most significant and complex megaprojects, Tim will open the evening with a presentation titled Client’s Perspective on Bids. This will be followed by a moderated discussion and audience Q&A, offering attendees the opportunity to hear his experiences, perspectives and lessons from a career at the forefront of major transport and infrastructure delivery.

For professionals working across transport and infrastructure, this is a rare opportunity to hear directly from one of Australia’s most experienced infrastructure leaders and gain first-hand insights into bids from the client’s perspective, alongside broader considerations in developing and delivering major infrastructure projects.

Places are strictly limited to 80 attendees, with 40 places reserved for young members (35 years of age or under). Early registration is strongly encouraged to avoid disappointment.

This is a free, in-person-only event, and registration is essential.
