Joint AGS & ATS Technical Evening
The Australian Geomechanics Society (AGS) and the Australasian Tunnelling Society (ATS) are pleased to invite members to save the date for a joint technical evening presentation featuring Dr Emilio Linde-Arias.
About the Speaker
Dr Emilio Linde-Arias is a geotechnical engineer, engineering geologist, and forensic expert with more than 20 years of international experience in major infrastructure and underground projects. He has extensive expertise in tunnelling, geological risk, underground construction, and geotechnical forensics, and has provided expert evidence on major infrastructure disputes worldwide.
This presentation will explore the challenges of geological uncertainty in underground works and highlight lessons learned from geotechnical forensic investigations of major projects. Given the strong tunnelling focus, the event is expected to be of significant interest to both AGS and ATS members.
Further details and registration information will be released closer to the event.
