Presentation Overview

The Victorian Tunnelling Centre (VTC) commenced operations in August 2020.  Five years on its opening it has worked with thousands of workers on several tunnelling projects to induct them for underground operations and provide training in the construction of tunnels and supporting infrastructure.  A critical component of the training providing has been the use of interactive technologies.  These technologies have improved the engagement of the learner and their satisfaction with the program undertaken.  This presentation will step through the decision-making process used to determine approaches to the use of interactive learning technologies and provide an overview of the evolution of the VTC over the past five years and ideas on where to next.
