Event overview

Design automation is changing the way structural engineers work, allowing us to solve problems faster, improve design clarity, and unlock new levels of efficiency. But where do you start? And how do you make sure you’re using these tools in a safe and transparent way?

In this webinar, Danish structural engineer Timo Harboe Zollner will walk us through real-world examples of how automation, Python, and AI tools can be applied in structural design. Timo’s work bridges engineering and programming, with a strong emphasis on practicality, making automation accessible to everyday engineers.

Whether you’re a practicing engineer or team leader, this session is a chance to see what’s possible, explore real examples of engineering automation, and identify opportunities to implement it in your own projects.

Who should attend?

This webinar is suited to:
• Tunnel/Structural engineers interested in learning how to use Python and automation tools.
• Design managers curious about digital workflows and emerging capabilities.
• Anyone in the built environment seeking smarter, more efficient ways of working.
