The 20th Australasian Tunnelling Conference will be hosted by the ATS and New Zealand Tunnelling Society (NZTS) in Brisbane, Queensland.

Long recognised as the premier event for tunnelling and underground engineering, ATC2027 will bring together industry leaders, innovators and experts to discuss the future of underground construction and engineering under the theme “Shaping an Underground Future: Technology, Sustainability & Resilience”.

The Organising Committee is preparing a dynamic program of technical presentations, workshops, and exhibitions showcasing advancements from leading designers, constructors, and suppliers. Our goal is to foster knowledge exchange, inspire innovative thinking, and strengthen industry connections.

ATC2027 will be hosted at the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC), offering versatile and intimate spaces for exhibitions, technical sessions, and networking opportunities. The venue is conveniently located at 600 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills, providing easy access to transport, accommodation, and entertainment.

The conference will address the vital role of tunnelling and underground construction in shaping sustainable infrastructure. It will explore how underground solutions support future growth, including road, rail, and utility tunnels, as well as projects facilitating the energy transition, such as developing renewable energy storage solutions.
