Proudly initiated by the ATS Diversity in Tunnelling group and generously sponsored by Bouygues Construction Australia, the Women in Tunnelling Achievement Award is designed to draw attention to the women who are making a difference in the tunnelling industry.

NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN NOW!

By recognising their leadership and achievements, we aim to promote career advancement and inspire others to support and recognise women who are contributing to our field. Additionally, the award will help women of all ages visualise themselves growing their careers and achieving great things within the tunnelling industry.

The prize will be awarded to a woman who has stood out in this sector for their technical excellence and industry leadership in their chosen field (for example tunnel design, construction or research) and are active in industry involvement including promoting the role of women in the industry through role modelling, mentoring and/or advocacy to attract and retain women and girls in the field of tunnelling.

Nominations are now open and the winner will be announced at the 2025 Australasian Tunnelling Conference in Perth.
